We are glad you’ve taken this opportunity to learn more about Gettysburg’s third annual Reenactor Appreciation Weekend. This weekend is our way of expressing gratitude to all the reenactors and living historians who help bring our historic city to life. We can’t do it without your dedication and passion for our great city.

Each Gettysburg business and museum participating in this year’s event has special offers and discounts for all reenactors, living historians and their family in period attire – all you have to do is show up in your period uniform, clothing or dress! In 2008 we’re making the event bigger and better than the last. Our Happenings page has a list of events for your leisurely entertainment and enlightenment. We strongly encourage pre-registration by March 5, 2008 in the Registry for each of the main events: Ladies Tea, Cigars and Brandy, Grand Ball, and Fashion Review. These events have limited seating and will be available on a first-come basis.
